Job summary

SARC is seeking a Client Services Advocate/Case Manager in Harford County, MD. You will assess client needs, coordinate services, and provide advocacy and emotional support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Collaboration with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners is essential. The role includes after-hours on-call coverage, community education, and case management across homes, offices, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and survivor support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop appropriate service plans.
• Coordinate safe housing, benefits, healthcare, and legal services.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Offer after-hours on-call coverage and hospital accompaniment.
• Staff helpline and chatline during shifts as scheduled.
• Document services in electronic records and follow up with clients.
• Educate community and assist with benefit applications.
• Train staff on benefit programs and best practices.
