Qualifications

• Required: Human Service-related college degree. May substitute 2 years of work experience with domestic violence/sexual violence victims.
• Preferred: Masters in Social Work or health-related field.
• Two years experience with victims of violence preferred; experience in acute healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality crisis counseling and advocacy for DV/SA victims.
• Intervene during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Support safety planning, danger assessment, and emotional support.
• Link patients to community resources and ensure warm hand-offs to providers.
