Thresholds in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Program Director to oversee the Crisis Response program and its teams, ensuring clinical excellence, compliance with CARF, Medicare, and Medicaid standards, and strong day‑to‑day management. The role includes supervision, budget oversight, and collaboration with program staff.

Responsibilities cover program operations, staff development, and crisis intervention, with on‑call duties and flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to synthesize and summarize information for member care.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use email and enter notes into EMR.

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of program services aligns with agency goals.
• Provides direct service as senior clinician or team coach.
• Oversees program operations and staffing in absence of Program Director.
• Monitors paperwork and case records to meet CARF, Medicare, Medicaid standards.
• Oversees program budget and expenditures as directed by Program Director.
• Participates in administration, coordination, and development of agency programs.
• Be on call for 24/7 programs and flexible scheduling.
