Job summary

TIDES FAMILY SERVICES INC in Rhode Island seeks a Crisis Stabilization Specialist to provide rapid in-person response to referred clients and deliver short-term in-home and community-based crisis services within a 30-day period.

You will work with an integrated team to set goals, assess progress, and connect families with resources while ensuring culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support. A rotating on-call schedule includes overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid driver’s license and registered/inspected vehicle required.
• Bilingual in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Creole preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in human services or related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid in-person crisis stabilization for referred clients and families.
• Coordinate short-term in-home and community-based services over ~30 days.
• Collaborate with integrated team clinicians to set goals and measure progress.
• Build relationships with clients, families and community partners.
• Maintain data and service delivery metrics; participate in on-call rotations.
