Job summary

Tides Family Services Inc in Rhode Island is seeking a Crisis Specialist to provide rapid in-person crisis response to clients referred to the program, delivering short-term in-home and community-based stabilization within a 30-day timeframe.

You will collaborate with integrated team clinicians to develop treatment goals, offer resources and advocacy, perform routine assessments, and build strong relationships with clients and families across the community.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in human services or non-profit settings.
• Demonstrates a safe, strengths-based approach with youth and families.
• Capable of rapid behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Highly self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.
• Strong commitment to agency mission and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid in-person crisis response to clients referred to the program.
• Deliver short-term in-home and community-based stabilization.
• Collaborate with integrated team clinicians to set treatment goals.
• Develop case reports and communication letters for relevant systems.
• Maintain weekly service delivery and ensure data accuracy.
• Attend program meetings and participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
