Job summary

MaineGuide in Portland is seeking a Community Response Worker to provide prevention and intervention services via telephone, mobile outreach and in-home support. The role requires reliable travel across Maine and rotating shifts through the Crisis Team.

You will work with local hospitals and law enforcement, contribute to crisis safety planning, and document all activities related to crisis incidents. A valid driver’s license and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Education, training, and/or experience in crisis response or related human services.
• Preferred background in crisis management, safety planning, or documentation.
• Certification to administer medication (CRMA) required; CPR/First Aid training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention and intervention services via telephone, mobile outreach, and in-home support.
• Rotate shifts in short-term crisis residential settings with the Crisis Team.
• Maintain regular contact with hospitals, law enforcement and community professionals.
• Assist in crisis safety planning and document all crisis-related activity.
