Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County is seeking an Emergency Clinician in Bennington, VT. The role provides crisis assessment, counseling, and case management to clients with mental health or substance use concerns.

Under the Psychiatric Medical Team’s direction, you will coordinate with schools and community partners, maintain records, and participate in meetings. A QMHP credential is preferred, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, counseling, or human services).
• QMHP certification or working towards is required/preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis triage, assessment and brief counseling to individuals and families.
• Coordinate services with other agencies and providers; make referrals as needed.
• Deliver clinical case management and social support; document thoroughly.
