Job summary

United Counseling Service in Bennington, Vermont, is hiring Outpatient Clinicians in full-time and part-time roles to provide assessment, counseling, and case management to individuals and families. Under the Director of Outpatient and Substance Use Services, you will work across a range of settings and coordinate care with local schools and community partners.

Candidates hold a master's degree in a relevant field, VT licensure or license eligibility, and possess strong counseling skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, psychiatric nursing, or related humans services field.
• VT license or VT OPR license eligibility and rostered.
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance use problems.
• Coordinate services with other agencies and providers; facilitate referrals as needed.
• Provide mental health and/or substance use consultation to communities and schools.
• Provide concurrent case management and collateral contacts as needed.
• Maintain timely and thorough record-keeping and complete time sheets.
