Job summary

The Denton County MHMR Center Inc seeks a Program Manager of the Crisis Residential Unit (CRU) to lead daily operations under the Senior Director of Community Integration Services. You will supervise the 24-hour CRU staff, guide crisis response, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and HHSC guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating clinical services, directing staff training, and interfacing with QMHP-CS for discharge planning, while maintaining a trauma-informed, person-centered

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Master's degree in behavioral sciences, social sciences, humanities, or a related field and have one year of mental health experience.
• Active Texas LPHA licensure is required and background checks must be clear per TAC/HHSC guidance.
• Experience in crisis situations is preferred and admission coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate daily CRU operations under the Senior Director.
• Provide crisis intervention and skill-building groups as needed in the residential setting.
• Ensure psychosocial assessments and CARE/plans meet regulatory timelines.
• Coordinate discharge planning with QMHP-CS and LPHA assessments.
• Maintain documentation in EHR and ensure compliance with HHSC guidelines.
• Lead staff training, honor trauma-informed care principles, and foster a positive work environment.
