Job summary
La Frontera Arizona is seeking part-time Recovery Technicians to join EMPACT-SPC’s 24/7 Mesa facility, providing counseling, education and supervision to clients in individual and group settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will assist clients in daily activities to achieve treatment goals and support crisis intervention.
The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, AZ driver license, fingerprint clearance, and reimbursement of licensure costs; inpatient or residential experience is
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
- Maintain professional conduct consistent with agency policies.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with internal and external team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling, education and supervision of clients in both individual and group settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Assist clients in planning and carrying out daily activities and evaluate progress during activities.
- Consult with other community agencies to provide needed client services and make referrals when appropriate.
- Maintain clinical documentation including progress towards goals, med observation records and shift notes.
- Intervene in crisis situations and help avert potential crises.
- Provide orientation to new clients at intake.
- Attend and participate in client staffing to determine progress and treatment outcomes.
