Job summary

EMPACT-SPC/La Frontera Arizona is seeking part-time Recovery Technicians to support clients in a 24/7 facility in Mesa, AZ. The role involves counseling, education, and supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team and requires shifts including days, nights, weekends, and on-call coverage.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, and may need inpatient/residential experience. A valid AZ driver license and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Inpatient or Residential experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years.
• Must have Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, education and supervision of clients in individual and group settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist clients in planning and carrying out daily activities and evaluate progress.
• Intervene in crisis situations to avert potential crises and provide orientation to new clients at intake.
• Transports clients in agency vehicles as necessary and maintain clinical documentation.
• May assist in orientation and training of new staff members.
• Participate in client staffing to determine progress and treatment outcomes.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
