Job summary
La Frontera Center Inc. is seeking a Recovery Technician at our Mesa location to provide counseling, education and supervision of clients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This role supports clients in achieving treatment goals and maintains documentation throughout shifts. You will work days, nights and weekends with on-call shifts, requiring a high school diploma, valid AZ driver’s license, fingerprint clearance and being 21 or older.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Inpatient or Residential experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in past three years.
- Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.
- Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling, education and supervision of clients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain clinical documentation including client progress toward goals and shift notes.
- Intervenes in crisis situations and assists in planning daily activities.
- Transports clients in agency vehicles as necessary.
- Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
- Participate in client staffing to determine progress and outcomes.
