Job summary
Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center (CRSC) in Denville, NJ. This 24-hour crisis center serves adults in mental health crisis, offering therapeutic interventions for up to 24 hours.
The role is part-time night (Wednesdays, 12 hours) with a sign-on bonus of $750-$1500 depending on licensure and $1500 for RN/APN credentials. A competitive benefits package accompanies the position.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from an accredited university.
- ANCC certification in psychiatry.
- Current New Jersey License for RN and APN in good standing.
- Valid C.D.S. registration and D.E.A Certification.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe medication in accordance with license and formulary, including controlled substances and MAT.
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat Crisis Receiving and Stabilization Center clients.
- Develop holistic behavioral health assessments and treatment plans with family involvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with Center psychiatrist and Medical Director; participate in case reviews.
