Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center (CRSC) in Morris County, NJ. This 24-hour center provides assessment and treatment for adults in psychiatric crisis, with medication management and collaborative care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in PMH Nursing, NJ APN license, ANCC psychiatry cert, and CDS/DEA registrations, with 2 years’ behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PMH nursing from an accredited university.
• ANCC certification in psychiatry.
• Current New Jersey RN and APN license in good standing.
• CDS registration and DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment within CRSC.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with license and formulary.
• Develop holistic behavioral health assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with family members and other staff for care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
