Job summary

Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center, a 24-hour psychiatric crisis setting for adults. This role supports assessment, treatments, and coordination with medical staff to deliver safe, compassionate care.

The position is part-time, day shift (Wednesdays, 12 hours). Eligible candidates must hold NJ RN licensure, CPR, and two years in behavioral health or related clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN program.
• Current State of New Jersey RN licensure.
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
• Minimum of two years in a behavioral health or related clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments at admission to the stabilization center.
• Record vital signs and perform routine health checks.
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered under supervision.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure infection control practices.
• Collaborate with medical providers to support patient care plans.
• Document care and complete required medical forms accurately.
