Job summary

Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center in Denville, NJ. This part-time night role supports a 24-hour psychiatric crisis center serving adults, with duties ranging from nursing assessments to medication administration under medical supervision.

Qualified candidates will hold NJ RN licensure, CPR certification, and have 2+ years in behavioral health settings. A sign-on bonus is offered based on licensure.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New Jersey is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in behavioral health or related clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments at admission to the stabilization center.
• Take and record vital signs including height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered under supervision.
• Maintain supply inventories and participate in infection control activities.
• Collaborate with medical staff and families to support patient care and safety.
• Document care and complete required medical forms accurately and timely.
