Center for Life Management in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a Night Shift Peer Support Specialist to deliver peer-centered crisis support. The role involves in-home, community-based, and office work with clients during extended evening hours and a training period.

Ideal candidates may have a degree in human services or a related field, plus peer certifications. The job emphasizes trauma-informed, compassionate care, collaboration, and ongoing documentation per agency standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience considered.
• Certified as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach preferred.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine and urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer counseling to promote hope and participation in treatment and recovery.
• Apply Trauma-Informed Care principles to assess trauma experiences and tailor support.
• Build trust, demonstrate empathy, and collaborate on client-centered goals.
• Refer clients to appropriate community mental health resources and supports.
• Maintain contact post-crisis to ensure referrals are connected and supported.
