Job summary

Chelan County is seeking an Outreach Case Manager to respond to behavioral health-related 911 calls, conduct crisis interventions, and link individuals to resources in Chelan and Douglas Counties.

The role focuses on face-to-face interventions, transitional case management, assessments, and second-responder duties with law enforcement. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Behavioral Sciences or two years of field experience in intensive case management and/or behavioral health services.
• Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist law enforcement on mental health crises and provide crisis intervention.
• Serve as the primary liaison for law enforcement and community partners.
• Conduct risk assessments and apply de-escalation techniques.
• Provide in-person outreach and referrals to crisis stabilization or shelters.
• Document interventions and coordinate care across agencies.
• Train first responders and share resources with the community.
• Participate in ride-alongs and support crisis response teams.
