Job summary

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is seeking a Crisis Line Training Coordinator to design and deliver onboarding and training for volunteer and staff crisis counselors. You will ensure alignment with suicide prevention best practices and collaborate with clinical supervisors to support counselor development and readiness.

The role requires on-site and travel as needed, with a hybrid work arrangement in the Century City area of Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a mental health-related position, including at least three years on a crisis line.
• Experience facilitating trainings and working with volunteers preferred.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, DMH and related regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staff and volunteer crisis line training programs: scheduling, curriculum delivery, live-call modeling, debriefs and role-plays.
• Supports volunteer recruitment and onboarding in partnership with Volunteer Coordinators and HR.
• Tracks training effectiveness, provides coaching, and escalates concerns as needed.
• Develops and maintains training content, including manuals, handouts and scenarios.
• Coordinates continuing education and Lunch & Learn sessions with Quality Improvement.
