  • Must respond constructively to adults and children in crisis; culturally sensitive to diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provides crisis interventions via 24-hour Crisis Line during assigned shift.
  • Maintains accurate client files and records in database and paper records; daily log updates.
  • Keeps client information confidential and maintains rapport with clients and children.
  • Arranges emergency transportation as needed and coordinates with staff.
  • Trains and collaborates with Shelter volunteers; participates in shelter meetings.
  • Participates in shelter operations, ensures respectful and empathetic service delivery.
