Job summary

Arab-American Family Support Center (AAFSC) seeks an Anti-Violence Program Case Manager to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and survivor-centered case management at the Family Justice Center in Staten Island.

The role requires a BA/BS/BSW and bilingual preference, with collaboration across law enforcement, courts, and social services to support survivors with trauma-informed, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BSW required in human service or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish or Arabic preferred; reading and writing proficiency a plus.
• Experience with domestic violence, survivors, immigrants, refugees or social justice preferred.
• Experience navigating medical, legal, and social service systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake to assess risk and service needs.
• Provide ongoing safety planning and survivor-centered case management.
• Coordinate crisis response with law enforcement and other partners.
• Assist with orders of protection and court accompaniment.
• Maintain case files and prepare demographic and funder reports.
• Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on resources.
