Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore seeks a Crisis Prevention Coordinator to support clients at the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center. You will provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and care coordination to help clients navigate crises and connect to behavioral health and housing resources.

The role involves working Saturday to Wednesday 8 AM - 4 PM, collaborating with case management and community partners to promote safety and stability for residents facing mental health challenges,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field required.
• Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
• Experience working with at-risk populations and crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with clients and support high-needs cases.
• Promote housing stability and reduce crisis service use.
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals.
• Document interactions accurately per policy.
• Coordinate care with external providers and community partners.
• Engage clients to connect to behavioral health resources.
