Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) seeks a dedicated Crisis Stabilization Support Worker (CSSW) to join the Battelle House crisis stabilization team. You will provide direct client support, conduct admissions, and assist with early recovery steps within a multi-disciplinary unit.

You will support basic medical care, be trained on medications, and help supervise group sessions while contributing to accurate documentation and outreach to the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or combination of education and experience in mental health services.
• Minimum of one year experience working directly with individuals with mental health issues.
• Eligible to obtain QMHP certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer admissions and discharges, conduct interviews, and manage forms and releases.
• Assist in medical care tasks, check vital signs, and help with medication administration.
• Support facility duties including meals, cleaning, and laundry.
• Provide outreach services and protect client rights; offer referral information.
• Participate in committees, QA activities, and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Complete clinical and administrative documentation timely for billing and records.
