Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health seeks a Crisis Triage Specialist to provide telephone crisis intervention for youth, adults, and families in Spokane, WA. You will perform risk assessments and create safety plans, coordinating with community resources to ensure immediate access to services.

The role requires a behavioral health-related bachelor’s degree, CAAR credential within 30 days, and preferably 2 years of crisis intervention experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field is required.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered (CAAR) credential from WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: two years of crisis intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and crisis assessment to individuals in crisis.
• Complete risk assessments to identify suicide/homicide risk and determine immediate responses.
• Collaborate with clients, family, and partners to develop stabilization plans and safe alternatives.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of contacts and safety plans.
• Provide crisis services by phone following NCQA standards and 988 Lifeline guidelines.
• Adhere to agency policies, participate in quality initiatives, and contribute to team efforts.
