Metropolitan Family Services in Illinois is seeking a part-time Intervention Specialist to join the Adult Protective Services team. This role focuses on safeguarding at-risk adults, determining eligibility, and coordinating care within the IDOA Area 12 Chicago northside subarea 1-4.

You will work closely with clients, families, and community partners to assess needs and implement safety plans. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work and 2+ years of crisis

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work required.
• 2+ years crisis intervention and mental health experience.
• Must pass screenings and background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers client information to determine eligibility and referrals.
• Assesses risk and develops safety plans with supervisors.
• Engages collaterals to determine level of care and services.
• Provides counseling and connects clients to needed resources.
• Maintains reports and documentation; supports after-hours coverage.
• Works with community partners to meet unmet needs.
