Job summary

HRCSB's crisis stabilization program in Harrisonburg, Virginia operates a 7-bed residential unit staffed 24 hours daily to provide crisis services to individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Eligible or QMHP-qualified with the State of Virginia.
• Experience with crisis stabilization and mental health treatment.
• Excellent crisis assessment and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis stabilization interventions in individual and group settings.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Contribute to treatment plan development and referrals for discharge.
• Establish linkages with family, supports, and community services.
• Assist residents with daily living tasks and facility upkeep.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately.
• Provide supervision in conjunction with program staff and follow policies.
• Respond to emergencies and involve other providers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
