Crisis Intervention services include telephone, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. We offer an extra $1.50 hr shift differential for the overnight shift. This gives you an opportunity to pick a schedule that best suits your needs/lifestyle. This creates a great work-life balance. We offer (to start) 20 days of PTO a year!The salary range for this position is $21.54/hour - $25.09/hour. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience. Crisis Counselors can work on call to respond to the community.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one-year experience in mental health field required.Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. See experience requirements above for applicants without a bachelors degree.Licenses, Certificates or Clearances:Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances.Valid Driver’s License.Car Insurance Coverage Verification.Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of de-escalation techniques, computer literate, knowledge of 302/201 process, and knowledge of PA resources.Other Factors or Requirements:Able to exercise sound judgment.Flexibility in scheduling.Take the initiative while being cooperative and empathetic.Maintain strict confidentiality.
