Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Crisis and Triage Advice Line in Chicago is seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide telephonic triage, crisis intervention, and ongoing ambulatory behavioral health services. You will evaluate, diagnose, and plan treatment for members, coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, and psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.
• Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, clinical counseling, or allied field related to mental health counseling.
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) or Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic triage and screening for behavioral health services.
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, groups, and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges, including contact with ERs, Courts, and emergency contacts.
• Maintain written medical records of services rendered and case notes.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and quality management activities.
