Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Clinician to join the Crisis and Triage Advice Line. The role focuses on telephonic triage, screening, and crisis intervention to ensure appropriate care levels and timely referrals.

Position involves ambulatory behavioral health services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups. Requires licensure (Hawaii) and NPI at hire, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years post-degree clinical experience.
• Completion of credentialing process upon hire.
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) or Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii).
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic triage and crisis intervention via Crisis and Triage Advice Line.
• Coordinate admissions/discharges for psychiatric cases and liaise with ERs, courts, and emergency services.
• Provide psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups, including outpatient programs.
• Conduct DSM-based diagnostic evaluations and determine level of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams, participate in quality management activities.
• Maintain written medical records of services rendered and clinical contacts.
