Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to join the Crisis and Triage Advice Line, delivering telephonic triage, crisis intervention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for members.

You will provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups, coordinate admissions and referrals, document care, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Three years of post-degree clinical experience minimum.
• Masters degree as specified in education section.
• Licensure requirements include MFT or MH Counselor license; NPI required at hire; BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic triage and screening for members seeking behavioral health services.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges for psychiatric admissions; liaise with ERs, courts, and emergency contacts.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, groups and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, quality management, and departmental planning.
• Maintain written medical records of services rendered including crisis interventions and triages.
