Responsibilities

• Answer crisis hotline calls, texts, and chats with professionalism and empathy.
• De-escalate individuals in crisis using active listening and problem-solving.
• Assess crisis severity and screen for risk of harm to self or others.
• Coordinate with emergency responders and community resources as needed.
• Document all interactions in EHR or crisis documentation system.
• Support training and onboarding for new Crisis Hotline Specialists.
