Qualifications
Must self-identify as having lived experience with a mental health and/or substance use condition.
Required to obtain Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) certification within 12 months of hire.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.
Responsibilities
Provide peer support via face-to-face, telephone, and virtual sessions.
Serve as a role model, mentor, and advocate.
Support individuals in navigating mental health, substance use, and community resources.
Participate in team-based response to individuals experiencing crisis.
Provide assertive outreach and engagement.
Deliver case management services to assist individuals in accessing ongoing treatment.
Maintain productive relationships with referral partners and community providers.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to engage individuals in behavioral health treatment
Flexibility
Knowledge of psychiatric, substance use, medical, and community resources
Strong oral and written communication
