Qualifications

• Must self-identify as having lived experience with a mental health and/or substance use condition.
• Required to obtain Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) certification within 12 months of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support via face-to-face, telephone, and virtual sessions.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and advocate.
• Support individuals in navigating mental health, substance use, and community resources.
• Participate in team-based response to individuals experiencing crisis.
• Provide assertive outreach and engagement.
• Deliver case management services to assist individuals in accessing ongoing treatment.
• Maintain productive relationships with referral partners and community providers.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to engage individuals in behavioral health treatment
