Meridian Services Incorporated in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join a Crisis program. This role covers overnight shifts (10pm-6am) with 7 days on/7 days off, providing essential supports, personal care, and community engagement for individuals served.

Responsibilities include responding to interfering behaviors, implementing safety interventions, and helping clients achieve personal outcomes while cross-training across programs for training purposes.

Qualifications

• Experience responding to interfering behaviors, including verbal and physical aggressions.
• Ability to implement physical intervention techniques within policy.
• Provide personal cares and support daily living skills.
• Capable of transportation supervision and community activities.

Responsabilités

• Respond to interfering behaviors including verbal and physical aggressions.
• Implement physical intervention techniques including Emergency Use of Manual Restraints (when permitted and required).
• Work on tailored outcomes with each person in the home.
• Be an active participant with individuals served in the community.
• Assist with personal cares as needed per person served.
• Provide guidance and instructional teaching to build life skills.
• Provide cleaning, cooking and medication administration to individuals.
• Provide supervision and transportation in the community.
