Job summary

Synova Group is seeking Direct Support Professionals for an adult crisis group home in Minnesota. The DSP helps adults with disabilities, mental health needs, and behavioral challenges to live independently and safely in our crisis setting.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, documentation, and community integration. The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle.
• Successfully pass a DHS background study.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in homes and communities to reach goals and independence.
• Assist with daily routines: cooking, household tasks, personal care, hygiene, activities.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Document services and important events in an online system.
• Encourage independence while adjusting level of support as needed.
