Center for Family Services seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients at the Crisis Diversion Home in Warren County, NJ. The role involves admissions help, group facilitation, safety monitoring, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure compassionate, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years' experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Current driver's license with a good driving record for at least three years.
• English-Spanish bilingual and lived experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and orientation for new clients.
• Record inventory of personal belongings and secure valuables.
• Co-facilitate orientation groups and daily living skills groups.
• Know where clients are at all times.
• Exercise sound professional judgment to manage client behavior.
• Provide supervision of meals.
• Participate in required staff trainings and staff meetings.
• Supervise clients completing the Program with emphasis on safety and well-being.
• Remind clients of program rules and report infractions.
• Provide emotional support and refer clients to clinical staff.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
• Complete incident reports according to policy.
• Communicate with staff to promote quality client care.
