Job summary

Center For Family Services seeks experienced Behavioral Health Technicians for the Crisis Diversion Home Program—a 24-hour residential setting for adults recovering from a mental health crisis.

Technicians provide supervision, supportive counseling, and lead daily living and recreation activities within a structured environment. Residents may stay up to 30 days, with emphasis on safety and progress toward independence.

Qualifications

• Leadership abilities to guide and model positive client interactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for work with adults in crisis.
• Ability to engage residents and provide supervision in a structured setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission processes and orientation for new clients.
• Maintain records and inventory logs for residents' belongings.
• Facilitate orientation groups and supervise daily living activities.
• Provide supervision of meals and turnover between shifts.
• Document care activities and communicate with staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise clients to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
