Job summary

Cascadia Health in Portland, OR, seeks a Dispatch Coordinator for a 90-day temporary assignment at the Kerns Building in NE Portland. You will support and direct the mobile crisis team by gathering critical information from the Behavioral Health Call Center, law enforcement, and referral sources to dispatch teams into the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field or three years of direct service experience.
• Demonstrate QMHA competencies and maintain certification per OARs.
• Minimum one year of experience with individuals with mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and gather critical information from BH Call Center, law enforcement, and partners.
• Review and summarize client history from multiple EHR systems for dispatch.
• Monitor real-time mobile crisis team locations and assign coverage accordingly.
• Dispatch teams to IWS in crisis and coordinate with emergency services.
• Facilitate access to crisis resources and follow-up services.
• Maintain compliant documentation and apply FIT practices when delivering services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
