Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions seeks a Mental Health Specialist I (Crisis Dispatcher) in Pendleton to provide timely behavioral health treatment via telephone or in-person visits, and to collaborate with community partners. The role supports crisis intervention, file documentation, and referrals while working in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts.

The position requires a behavioral sciences degree or equivalent experience, Oregon licensure, and completion of QMHA certification within 6

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, nursing, or occupational therapy and Oregon license; or HS diploma with 3 years of related experience.
• Oregon QMHA certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Must communicate effectively, work independently, and coordinate with multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate data from observations and histories using clinical techniques.
• Establish short-term goals with clients and provide follow-up services.
• Encourage clients to access community services and resources.
• Provide home visits and outreach to schools and agencies.
• Complete clinical records and collateral forms accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with police and community agencies during crisis events.
• Provide after-hours emergency services on a rotating basis.
