Job summary

Cascadia Health is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator for a 90‑day project at the Kerns Building in NE Portland. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m.

to 8:30 p.m., and the position is located on-site. The Dispatch Coordinator will support and direct the mobile crisis team by gathering and relaying critical information about community IWS, coordinating with the Behavioral Health Call Center and law enforcement to dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field.
• Be eligible to credential as QMHA per MHACBO and OARs.
• Minimum one year experience with individuals with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information with Behavioral Health Call Center and law enforcement.
• Review and summarize client health information from EHR systems.
• Monitor real-time mobile crisis team location and dispatch coverage.
• Dispatch teams to IWS in crisis and coordinate with emergency services.
• Facilitate access to mental health resources and referrals.
• Document accurately per agency policies and EMR.
• Participate in trainings and meetings.
