Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crisis Management Information & Technology Intern to support the Crisis Management team in enhancing situational awareness, operational readiness, emergency preparedness, and information management initiatives.

This full-time summer internship (40 hours per week) provides hands-on experience with crisis management systems, dashboards, SharePoint, and Athena AI, offering exposure to utility operations and incident management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Excel, SharePoint, and dashboard tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain crisis information.
• Research historical storm and outage records for dashboards.
• Migrate historical data into SharePoint and repositories.
• Maintain and enhance the Crisis Management Dashboard and Athena AI.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and reference materials.
• Support IMT activations and emergency events.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
