Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a motivated Crisis Management Information & Technology Intern to support the Crisis Management team. The role focuses on improving situational awareness, information management, and incident response through hands-on work with crisis management systems and dashboards.

The internship offers exposure to utility operations, emergency preparedness, and technology solutions used to support decision-making, with opportunities to work on the Ameren Illinois Crisis Management

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an eligible field.
• Strong interest in crisis management and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, organizing, and validating crisis management information.
• Research historical records for dashboards and situational awareness tools.
• Support migration of data into SharePoint and dashboards.
• Assist with maintaining the Crisis Management Dashboard and Athena AI platform.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and resource libraries.
• Maintain SharePoint lists and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support creation of SOPs, workflows, and documentation.
• Assist with activations and after-action reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across operations and communications.
