Ameren Illinois is seeking a motivated Crisis Management Information & Technology Intern for a full-time summer internship to support crisis management, information management, and incident response initiatives.

This role offers hands-on experience with crisis management systems, SharePoint, dashboards, and Microsoft 365 tools, contributing to operational decision-making and resilience across utility operations.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Emergency Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, Data Management, Engineering, Meteorology, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Assist with collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining crisis management information from internal and external sources.
Research and compile historical storm, outage, weather, restoration, and emergency records for dashboards and situational awareness.
Support migration and organization of historical information into SharePoint, dashboards, and approved info repositories.
Assist with maintaining and enhancing the Ameren Illinois Crisis Management Dashboard and Athena AI platform.
Help develop and update reports, dashboards, resource libraries, and situational awareness products.
Maintain SharePoint lists, document libraries, Microsoft 365 apps, and approved information management systems.
Support creation and maintenance of reference materials, SOPs, workflows, and documentation.
Assist with monitoring operational information and preparing materials for IMT activations and emergencies.
Support after-action reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and communications.
