Job summary

CSA Global Inc. seeks an Operations Specialist to provide 12-hour on-site coverage at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

The role focuses on monitoring, collecting, and sharing information for the Shore Enterprise Operations Center (SEOC) to maintain situational awareness and timely decision support for naval operations. Ideal candidates hold an active Secret Clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, five years in an operations or command center, plus emergency management experience and military

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in operations center, command center, or similar.
• Recent EM operations experience in federal or state context.
• At least 8 years of military service.

Responsibilities

• Assist N37 staff with information flow to staff, regions and installations.
• Screen, categorize, and format incoming message traffic for distribution.
• Prepare and disseminate briefs per Commander requirements.
• Support Crisis Action Team operations information management using SEOC systems.
• Provide oral and written responses to queries from commands and external stakeholders.
• Promote knowledge sharing among commands and stakeholders.
• Execute COOP plans including deployment to a COOP site.
• Maintain and track equipment status in the SEOC.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations for communications equipment.
• Follow Navy IA requirements and handle classified material securely.
