Job summary

Gryphon Place in Michigan seeks dedicated information and referral crisis support staff. You will provide 24/7 crisis intervention by phone and online to the public and professionals, with 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekend availability required.

We are hiring two Full-Time and three Part-Time positions (up to 20 hours/week). The role emphasizes empathy, resource linkage, and collaboration with community agencies to assist individuals in need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 40-hour training provided by Gryphon Place.
• Experience in human services is preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn agency processes and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and referral services and crisis intervention by phone and electronically.
• Interview clients, assess needs, identify resources, and link with other agencies.
• Advocate for inquirers and conduct follow-up to ensure needs are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in training.
• Support outreach activities and agency programs; assist during disasters as needed.
