Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Client Communications Consultant, Specialist to lead external client, incident, and crisis communications for the Workplace Solutions division. The role requires translating sensitive technical issues into clear, timely messaging while partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to align communications with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident management and crisis communications for high‑risk events, delivering clear messaging to external audiences and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as primary point of contact during crisis communications, coordinating with Public Relations, BCM, and Incident Response Teams at divisonal and enterprise levels.
• Provide consultation to address external client communication needs for the business.
• Develop cohesive communication plans aligned to business outcomes and measure impact on target audiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, explore solutions, and ensure delivery within scope and capacity.
• Lead recurring meetings to improve effectiveness and efficiency of communications.
• Track metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of external client communication solutions.
• Identify trends for future application and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
