Elevate, Inc. is seeking a Co-Responder to provide trauma-informed crisis response in partnership with law enforcement and community providers in Sheboygan, WI. The role includes 6:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

shifts at the Sheboygan Police Department, with rotating weekends, and a second site in Sheboygan Falls offering FT/PT hours and a split pay option. The Co-Responder delivers crisis intervention, de-escalation, safety planning, follow-up, and connection to resources, working with police, first

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess situations, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in crisis environments.
• Experience or training in crisis intervention preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally responsive and respectful services.

Aufgaben

• Respond to emergency and police-based calls for service involving individuals in crisis.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, assessment, safety planning, and resource linkage.
• Complete follow-up contacts with individuals engaged through crisis and emergency services.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, dispatch, county partners, and community providers.
• Serve as a liaison between individuals, families, first responders, and community resources.
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and Zero Suicide approaches.
• Participate in patrol briefings, ride-alongs, and community outreach with law enforcement partners.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and required data collection.
• Maintain required training, certifications, and Wisconsin requirements.
