This position serves residents of San Benito County. Applicants are required to use personal vehicles to perform crisis services throughout San Benito County.

We serve individuals from birth to older adults across multiple counties, offering a range of mental health, foster care, social services, housing, and educational programs.
The San Benito Mobile Crisis team handles psychiatric emergencies for youth and adults, facilitating hospitalization, safety planning, and aftercare linkage.
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm. Provides assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and therapeutic activities, working directly with children and adults.
Provides safety risk assessments, crisis de-escalation, safety planning, hospitalization facilitation, and works with high-risk individuals. Supports community callers via a 24/7 program offering consultation, coaching, de-escalation, and resources.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related field. One year supervised clinical experience with children or adults. Must be registered with BBS or BOP and licensed under California law or become licensed within the designated timeframe. Valid CA driver’s license and insurance with two years of experience required.
2-3 years of clinical experience, training in trauma, domestic violence, or child abuse, experience with diverse populations, bilingual skills.
Must pass physical abilities test if required, and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within 30 days, with annual recertification.
Must remain physically fit to ensure safety. Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
