Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Crisis Clinician (Internal Title: Triage Clinician Lead) to assess individuals in crisis and guide care during critical moments. This PRN role requires leadership within a fast-paced crisis center and collaboration with multi-disciplinary partners to ensure timely, person-centered services.

The position emphasizes mentoring staff, coordinating services, and maintaining high standards of care across shifts, nights and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in a behavioral health field or closely related discipline.
• Currently credentialed/licensed to practice in the behavioral health field (as applicable).
• Experience leading crisis response teams or roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical evaluations for individuals in behavioral health or substance use crises.
• Guide the flow of services and coordinate care pathways for crisis cases.
• Oversee non-clinical team members and ensure safe, effective operations during shifts.
• Collaborate with community partners to connect individuals with timely, person-centered care.
• Lead with compassion to mentor and support staff in a fast-paced crisis environment.

As a Crisis Clinician (Internal Title: Triage Clinician Lead) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), you’ll be the primary point of assessment for individuals experiencing behavioral health or substance use crises. In this role, you’ll not only provide comprehensive clinical evaluations, but also guide the flow of services, oversee non-clinical team members, and collaborate with community partners to ensure every person receives timely, person-centered care.
