Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Columbus, OH to serve as the program receptionist and provide routine clerical support as needed. The role requires at least 1 year of office experience, a high school diploma, and strong MS Office skills; de-escalation training and HIPAA confidentiality are required.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a rotating shift. The position offers temporary assignment up to 12 weeks and works at the Crisis - Franklin County

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year clerical or office experience required.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to pass de-escalation training.
• Must maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and acts as receptionist; triages calls and logs data.
• Inputs data for initial registration and records in computer.
• Assists in data gathering for billing and audits.
• Maintains office equipment and petty cash.
• Performs routine typing, filing, copying and faxing.
• Maintains confidential filing system and orderly reception area.
• Orders and stocks office supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
