Job summary

Southside Behavioral Health is hiring a Crisis Care Case Manager to join the Crisis Response Team. The role supports crisis relief within SBH’s catchment area, working on alternating 12-hour shifts including overnights, and requires QMHP licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities include crisis response, risk assessments, and providing interventions in clinics and community settings. Qualified candidates pursue certification as an Emergency Services Prescreener within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Licensed QMHP or QMHP-T within 3 months of hire.
• Must become certified as an Emergency Services Prescreener within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Responds to behavioral health crisis situations with empathy and compassion.
• Conducts comprehensive risk assessments and mental health evaluations in crisis settings.
• Responds to crises at SBH locations, hospitals, schools, jails, and community.
• Provides crisis intervention techniques to develop coping skills.
